"Stonecipher" is actually olde english for "unfinished house in a wet field"

In this issue of Stonecipher Farm, we have exactly no pictures of the "farm" part of the farm.  This is a special summer addition.... a "country livin" focus you might say.  We apologize for any inconvinience this may bring you or your establishment.  However, if you are new to our lovely blogsite, well then, i guess it worked....

"Voila"  as they say in Mexico.  The tree house is complete.  The kids are bonkers for it.  A friend sent pictures of it to the Smithsonian.  We are considering listing it on Air B+B.

We sleep up in the attic, every Friday....so, Fridays are booked.
It was chilly out when the ducklings arrived.  So for the first few nights, they spent nights in the tub.  It sounds cute.  It was pretty gross.  Here Gideon is brushing his teeth, while the ducklings start to doze off.

Yes, these are the facilities, if you were to book the air b+b thing.

This is what fabulously cute ducks look like sleeping in your tub.

we ordered 12.... they sent 13.  A proverbial "baker's dozen" of cuteness.

4 Blue Swedish.  4 Welsh Harlequin. 5 Indian Runner.

For those of you who missed the Bean Hole (all of you), here's the clean up crew, moved in for the evening.  "Was it a good party girls?"  I should say so.....

Here's the part where Papa busted out all the GMO corn foam peanuts I'd been hoarding from Whole Foods.  The kids lost their minds when I dumped them all on the trampoline.

They all bounced off onto the ground, and the ones that weren't eaten by chickens, melted in the next rain.

MOFGA doesn't need to know anything about this alright.

This was the ducklings first outing.  Anna lovingly herded them around to the puddles, where they splashed, and shoveled their bills in the muck.  Just like that episode of Louis C.K., except really country!

First carrots! 2015!  orange and sweet!  The kids eat 'em DIRT ON!

The kids' first lemonade stand!  They made the lemonade, but Papa was in charge of marketing.  The awesome part you can't see in these photos, is Gideon on his drum set, whaling on the drums to get cars' attention.
They made $29 USD!
They did also dig the carrots.... they didn't sell any though.... $1 each was a little high, and they ended up eating them all anyway.

Sorry no cat photos this time.  Our camera broke, so we couldn't take any new pictures of the cats.  These are the photos we already had, when it broke.

Please visit Maine, and eat lots of food!  Especially at restaurants in Portland!  We don't really care which ones, cause we're in all of them!!!
