You know the old saying...The family that gets the bugs off Gideon together stays together. |
A kids only canoe trip at the Abbey River. |
This was a sea voyage with Uncle Dougie. That guy has a PhD!
|
This was Gideons first day in his life as captain. We stuck him in this enclosure to keep an eye on his skills. He did great, and we let him out into the river. He did amazing. He was 5! |
Gideon wanted his birthday party down at the river. Boats, swimming, fire and hot dogs , friends, family, and more friends. His sisters made this cake, from scratch, and decorated it, to look like the river party. I hid it, and when I pulled it out, it was covered with real ants!! Just like the real party! |
He's just so damn happy in this picture, we had to include it. This is at pemequid beach, which is a surprisingly nice beach, with perfect florida like sand. Check out that farmers' tan. |
The kids wrote "Mao" in time lapse glow sticks bouncing on a trampoline, when I asked "KIDS! Who's your favorite communist dictator?!" |
Enter into life: Hugo. Born August 26th 2016. He's everybody's favorite little brother. And he's easily my favorite baby! |
This is literally the first time sun hit his face. Imagine that. |
His little life began at such a dynamic part of the year.... so much transition in the air... summer into fall... blueberries into pumpkins.... We took him for his first little walk around the farm, that will have been his home for his whole life someday... or where he grew up anyway... |
I could do this with him all day. |
Babies are just such perfect beings... |
Have you seen a prouder sister? |
